I'll Go Crazy/ I Know It's True

This is the original version of Brown's great song, which became a hit again in 1966 at the height of his Soul career. Rawer than the 1966 version, this original is a delight to hear, and even then the Famous Flames provided incredibly tight instrumental backing for the man who was to become first the King of Soul, and then later of Funk. By the way, I believe this was a non-album single... I couldn't find the track on any of Brown's contemporary LPs. This is only the second original pressing I've had to offer since opening the store in 2001, and it's by far the nicer of the two. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage King/Federal Records factory sleeve. The labels grade very close to Mint, as does the vinyl, which looks almost untouched. The audio sounds pristine Mint!
