There's A Break In The Road

Here's a beautiful Mono/Mono promo copy of this obscure 1969 single, which just happens to host an unstoppable Funky Soul dancer courtesy of New Orleans Soul/Funk master Allen Toussaint. Check out the mp3 "snippet"! Note: This copy has Near Mint labels with a hint of ringwear (see scan). The vinyl grades a strong EX to reflect some scuffs and tiny abrasions visible on close examination. One side of the record has Near Mint audio, with just some light surface noise near the beginning and then solid Near Mint or better audio thereafter (listen to the mp3 "snippet"); the other side has too many light "pops" along the way, so I'd separately grade that audio EX. I'm grading the audio a strong EX overall as an average of the two.
