Jerry Engler and the Four Ekkos were an American rockabilly band active during the late 1950s. Led by vocalist Jerry Engler, their music combined elements of country, R&B, and rock 'n' roll, a fusion that was characteristic of the rockabilly genre. While they did not achieve widespread recognition, their single "Sputnik (Satellite Girl)" is notable for being one of the earliest songs to reference the Space Age. The band's contribution to the rockabilly movement has a distinct place in music history.
