Mr. Bojangles/ Round and Round

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy with a drillhole, in its original Atco Records factory sleeve. Here's a beautiful copy of the original release of this classic... it's such a familiar folk tune that it's hard to remember it was actually written by someone—by Jerry Jeff Walker, in fact. This great single presents another side of Mr. Walker, by the way, on its B side: "Round and Round" is a delightful uptempo country-rock number, not far removed from the sound John Fogerty was making with CCR at the time. Note: Aside from the drillhole, this 45 record is pristine Mint.
