Walk A Mile In My Shoes/ Shelter

Credited to 'Joe South and The Believers.' After filling up on the immense tolerance South preaches so eloquently on the A side, check out the equally good flip! It's a terrific white soul number, a song South had written for the Tams a few years earlier. Why he stuck it on a B side rather than letting it shine on its own A side, I don't know. But certainly, this essential single gives you a rich return in great Joe South music! By the way, the A side is slightly edited from a 4:05 album track. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Capitol Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels and vinyl. The audio grades Near Mint overall, but note that very light surface noise is audible beneath the soft intros on both sides, but the noise is inaudible once the band kicks in.
