Crank It Up (Funk Town) Pt. 1/ Pt. 2

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original T.K. Records factory sleeve. This terrific dance number, which straddles the blurred lines between Disco and Funk and Synth-Pop, was a big hit in the Black/RnB market, but flopped in the largely Caucasian Pop market, as measured by the Billboard singles charts. An unusual case of a white singer having more success in the Black market than on Top 40 radio. And for the record: Top 40 radio was wrong — this should have been a hit! Note: This beautiful copy has pristine vinyl and audio, and the labels are very close to Mint. This copy is on the dark blue Drive label.
