The KBC Band was an American rock band active from 1985 to 1987. Formed by prominent musicians Paul Kantner, Marty Balin, and Jack Casady, all previous members of the influential rock group Jefferson Airplane, the band's music style was a blend of rock and roll, folk, and blues. Notably, their self-titled album "KBC Band" is often recognized for the hit single "America". Although short-lived, the KBC Band is significant as part of the continuing musical evolution of the Jefferson Airplane family of bands.
