Kleeer was an American New York-based funk, disco, and post-disco band active from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. The quartet, which included Woody Cunningham, Paul Crutchfield, Richard Lee, and Norman Durham, is best known for their unique blend of electronic sounds, funk rhythms, and soulful vocals. Their signature track "Winners," released in 1979, significantly influenced the development of the electronic funk genre. Even though Kleeer didn't achieve mainstream popularity, their musical impact is recognized particularly in the hip-hop community where their songs have been sampled frequently.
