Leonard Lee

Leonard Lee was an influential American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter from the mid-20th century. He was best known as one half of the duo Shirley & Lee, alongside Shirley Goodman, with their distinct style of vocal interplay significantly impacting the development of rock and roll. Their biggest hit, "Let the Good Times Roll", released in 1956, is considered a classic of the genre. Lee's contribution to music history lies in his ability to blend traditional rhythm and blues with elements of pop and rock, setting the stage for future musical evolution.
