Marshall Hain was a British pop-rock duo active in the late 1970s, consisting of keyboardist Julian Marshall and vocalist and bassist Kit Hain. Known for their blend of soft rock and synthesizer-led pop, they gained significant recognition with their hit single "Dancing in the City," which reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart and number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1978. Despite their brief tenure, Marshall Hain's fusion of pop and electronic elements had an impact on the emerging synth-pop scene of the 1980s.
