Mike Douglas was an American "Big Band" era singer, and later, a popular television talk show host. His musical style was characterized by warm, smooth vocals, fitting perfectly into the popular music of the mid-20th century. Douglas' most notable hit was "The Men in My Little Girl's Life," a narrative song which reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966. Despite his successful music career, Douglas is best known for his Emmy-winning television show, "The Mike Douglas Show," which featured many musical guests and influenced the format of future talk shows.
