Mind Garage

Mind Garage is a psychedelic rock band, formed in West Virginia in 1967. Notable for their fusion of rock and religious music, they are often credited as pioneers of the "Christian rock" genre. Their most significant work, "The Electric Liturgy," performed in 1968 and recorded in 1970, was one of the first Christian rock masses. The band's lineup, including members Larry McClurg, John Vaughan, Ted Smith, Jack Bond, and Joe Bageant, contributed to the unique sound that distinguished Mind Garage in the late '60s and early '70s music scene.
