N.C.C.U.

N.C.C.U., short for New Central Connection Unlimited, was an American funk and soul band active in the 1970s. The group was notable for featuring the talents of singer, songwriter, and producer Don Blackman, who would later become a prominent figure in jazz-funk. Their sound was characterized by its blend of rhythmic, upbeat funk and smooth, soulful vocals, with their most recognized track being "Super Trick". Despite their relatively short lifespan, N.C.C.U. made a significant impact on the funk genre and contributed to the evolution of the soul music of the era.
