Nazz

Nazz was an American rock band formed in Philadelphia in 1967, best known for launching the career of its frontman, Todd Rundgren. Their musical style was a fusion of garage rock, psychedelic rock, and power pop, which helped pave the way for the power pop genre in the 1970s. Notable for their melodic tunes and catchy lyrics, Nazz’s most influential work is arguably their 1968 single, "Open My Eyes". Despite their brief existence, ending in 1971, Nazz's impact persists in the realm of rock music.
