Beth/ Detroit Rock City

This is the original release, which has a desert scene at the top of the label that "bleeds" down almost to the text, with no mention of "Filmworks" etc. "Detroit Rock City" is an edited version of the 5:17 album cut. By the way, both sides of this single received airplay, though it was the ballad "Beth" that became the bigger hit.  The audio is very close to Mint.

Now here is the interesting part.   We bought a large collection on this road trip recently where the owner made meticulous heavy card stock insert replicas of a picture sleeve where one did not exist.   In this case they used the Denmark release which is one of the better ones for this issue.   Still the US pressing inside, but a nice add on for Kiss collectors.
