This is an original promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Atco Records factory sleeve. Once again, I'm left crying "Wow!" What a great Northern Soul dancer the A side of this obscure 1965 single turns out to be... too bad I just posted an mp3 "snippet", or I'd definitely do one for "If You Can't Be True." The flip is a Deep Soul-style ballad. Note: This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that she may have actually played, but no more than once or twice I would guess. The A label has a pink star stamped on it (see scan), and both have a hint of storage wear. The vinyl likewise shows very light signs of prior use and storage, grading Near Mint. The vinyl has some very light surface noise audible mostly right at the beginning of the track, also grading Near Mint.
