Phil Seymour was an influential American power pop musician prominent in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for his tight, melodic style, Seymour first gained fame as half of the Dwight Twilley Band, which scored a Top 20 hit in 1975 with "I'm on Fire". After embarking on a solo career, Seymour had a hit single with "Precious to Me" from his self-titled debut album.
