Kick Out The Jams / Motor City Is Burning

Record Store Day 2009 release of this big "hit" single from 1968. (There must be some kind of MC5 revival going on, because this is the second reissue of "Kick Out The Jams" I've stocked in the last 2 months!) "Kick Out The Jams" was one of the most influential singles of its day, fully capturing the sense of anarchy that 1968's riots and assassinations produced.  

Note: This single has the uncensored version of "Kick" from the group's LP, rather than the cleaned-up one that appeared on the original 45. (The uncensored version has lead singer Rob Tyner yelling "Kick out the jams, MotherF**kers!" rather than "Kick out the jams, Brothers and Sisters!")

Other than one stray mark on the vinyl from storage, this stunning package is flawless!
