Rare Bird was an English progressive rock band that emerged in the late 1960s. Notably, they were one of the first groups to rely heavily on keyboards, with both their keyboardists, Graham Field and Dave Kaffinetti, significantly influencing their distinctive sound. Their most significant work, "Sympathy", achieved chart success in the UK and other parts of Europe. Despite disbanding in 1975, Rare Bird's unique combination of rock and classical elements left a lasting impression in the progressive rock genre.
