Travelin' Man/ Hello Mary Lou

Here's a beautiful copy of the one Ricky Nelson single I'd have to have with me on that proverbial desert island. :-) Unfortunately, it's also the one Ricky Nelson single that everyone else wants, and so copies like this one don't turn up nearly as often as we'd like. Though "Travelin' Man" is a fine classic, it's that great Gene Pitney song on the B side that gets my adrenaline going: The mix is perfect, and the sound huge, and it's great to stand between two speakers with "Mary Lou" playing and marvel at how great vinyl records still sound! By the way, it's 'Hello Mary Lou' that ranks at #414 on Marsh's list of the 1001 greatest singles. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Imperial Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio); the vinyl has a few light scuffs, and the audio very light underlying surface noise barely noticeable, but strong, clear sound.
