Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone magazine maintains a list of the Top 500 Songs.

At Classic 45's, we cross-index our inventory with the Rolling Stone list and highlight selections from the list in our search results. The Rolling Stone list numbers are highlighted with a red semi-circle, as shown below. The display can get confusing in cases where a single is on two or more of the lists that we maintain (Marsh, Rolling Stone, Kev Roberts). When more than one list number appears, the order of the list is determined by the one you are currently viewing. For example, below you will see Dave Marsh list numbers (the orange ones) highlighted along with the Rolling Stone list numbers, but the items on the page are ordered according to the Rolling Stone list (the red circled numbers), since that's the one you're currently viewing.
