Rush

Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968, known for their complex compositions, eclectic style, and lyrical themes exploring science fiction and fantasy. The band consisted of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitars), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion), who replaced original drummer John Rutsey in 1974. Their signature sound, characterized by Lee's high-register vocal style and Peart's intricate drumming, is evident in influential works like "Tom Sawyer" and the concept album "2112". The band's unique blend of progressive rock, heavy metal, and elements of jazz and classical music has granted them a significant place in rock music history.
