Sheriff was a Canadian rock band active in the early 1980s, renowned for their blend of hard rock and power ballad styles. The band was notable for its members Arnold Lanni and Freddy Curci, who later formed the successful band Alias. Although they only released one self-titled album, Sheriff's legacy is primarily tied to their hit single "When I'm with You," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1989, six years after the band's dissolution. Despite their short lifespan, Sheriff contributed significantly to the 1980s rock scene.
