Shirley & Lee, consisting of Shirley Goodman and Leonard Lee, were an American rhythm and blues duo popular in the 1950s. Known for their call-and-response style of singing, they acquired the nickname "The Sweethearts of the Blues". They are perhaps best known for their hit song "Let The Good Times Roll", which has been covered by numerous artists, contributing to the development of rock and roll. Despite the romantic nature of their songs, the two were not a couple, a fact that often surprised their fans.
