Silver

Silver was an American rock band formed in the mid-1970s, characterized by a melodic, soft-rock style with strong country and folk influences. Notably, the band included John Batdorf, formerly of Batdorf & Rodney, and Brent Mydland, who later became the longest-tenured keyboardist for the Grateful Dead. Their most significant contribution to music history is their hit single "Wham Bam", which peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1976. Despite the short-lived nature of the band, Silver's music is remembered for its fusion of rock, country, and folk elements.
