Skool Boyz was an American R&B and funk band that achieved prominence during the 1980s. The group, comprising of Stan Sheppard, Chauncey Matthews, and Fred Brown, was known for their distinctive blend of electronic instrumentation and soulful vocals. They released several albums, with their self-titled debut in 1984 and "This Is The Real Thing" in 1987 being particularly influential in the R&B genre.
