Tarheel Slim and Little Ann were an influential American blues and R&B duo active during the 1950s and 1960s. Comprising of guitarist and singer Alden "Tarheel Slim" Bunn and vocalist Anna "Little Ann" Sanford, their music embodied a unique blend of gospel, blues, and R&B. They are perhaps best known for their 1959 hit "It's Too Late," a staple in the R&B genre. Despite their relatively short career, Tarheel Slim and Little Ann left a significant mark on American roots music with their soulful harmonies and evocative lyrics.
