"The Butterflys" were a 1960s American girl group, notable for their association with the famous songwriter and producer, Shadow Morton. They had a unique sound, characterized by strong doo-wop and pop influences, and were best known for their hit single, "Good Night Baby". Although their time in the spotlight was brief, their influence can be seen in the development of girl groups in pop music. Despite numerous lineup changes, the core members were Eleanor Barooshian, Patricia Bennett, and Barbara Perry.
