The Fendermen were an American pop and country music duo, primarily known for their rockabilly style and their unique blend of country and rock and roll elements. Consisting of musicians Jim Sundquist and Phil Humphrey, the pair gained recognition in the late 1950s and early 1960s, most notably for their hit single "Mule Skinner Blues." Their distinctive sound was characterized by twangy, Fender electric guitar riffs and raw, unpolished vocals. Despite their brief time together, The Fendermen's fusion of genres played a significant role in the development of the rockabilly movement.
