The Flying Lizards were an experimental English band formed in 1976 by David Cunningham. Known for their avant-garde, post-punk style, they combined electronic music with unconventional interpretations of pop songs. The band gained notoriety for their minimalist approach and distinctive sound, largely attributable to Cunningham's innovative use of non-musical objects as instruments. Their biggest hit was a deconstructed cover of Barrett Strong's "Money (That's What I Want)," which achieved commercial success in both the UK and US charts.
