The Gladiolas

The Gladiolas were an American doo-wop group active in the late 1950s, led by influential musician Maurice Williams. Their musical style was characterized by tight vocal harmonies, rhythm and blues influences, and catchy melodies. The group's most significant work, "Little Darlin'", was a Top 20 hit in 1957 and has since been covered by numerous artists, proving its enduring appeal and influence in the doo-wop genre. Despite their short-lived career as The Gladiolas, members went on to find continued success under the new name Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs.
