The Headboys were a Scottish rock band active primarily in the late 1970s. Identified by their New Wave style, they blended elements of punk and pop to create a distinctive sound that is best exemplified in their hit single, "The Shape of Things to Come". Although their commercial success was short-lived, their contribution to the New Wave genre is significant, as they were one of the pioneering bands during its early development. The band was comprised of Lou Lewis (guitar, vocals), George Boyter (bass, vocals), Calum Malcolm (keyboards, vocals), and Davy Ross (drums, vocals).
