The KLF, also known as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, were a British electronic band formed in 1987 by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty. Noted for their experimental style, they fused elements of house, techno, hip hop, and pop to create provocative, sample-heavy compositions. They gained international recognition with chart-topping hits like "3 a.m. Eternal" and "Justified and Ancient." Despite their commercial success, The KLF were known for their anarchic stance, exemplified by their notorious public burning of a million British pounds in 1994.
