The Kodaks were an American doo-wop group formed in the mid-1950s, best known for their hit "Oh Gee, Oh Gosh". Their music was characterized by its rhythmic vocal harmonies and soulful lyrics, key elements of the doo-wop genre. Led by Pearl McKinnon, one of the few female lead singers in the doo-wop era, The Kodaks made a significant contribution to the evolution of rhythm and blues into soul music. Despite their relatively brief period of activity, their work continues to be influential in the doo-wop revival scene.
