The Lemon Pipers

The Lemon Pipers were an American bubblegum pop band active during the late 1960s. Known for their fusion of psychedelic rock and pop, they are best remembered for their 1968 number one single "Green Tambourine", which helped establish the bubblegum pop genre. The band's original lineup, featuring notable members like singer Ivan Browne and guitarist Bill Bartlett, was influential in the group's unique sound. Despite their brief period of success, The Lemon Pipers' contribution to the development of bubblegum pop secures their place in music history.
