The Miracles

The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was the first successful recording act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records. Formed in the 1950s, their distinguished musical style blended soul, doo-wop, and R&B, and was characterized by lead singer Smokey Robinson's falsetto voice. The Miracles are noted for their hits like "Shop Around" and "The Tracks of My Tears" that significantly influenced the sound of Motown. Their contributions to popular music have been recognized with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
