The Olympics

The Olympics were an American doo-wop group formed in 1957 in Los Angeles, California. Known for their upbeat rhythm and blues style, they gained prominence with their novelty dance songs like "Western Movies" and "Hully Gully." The group, consisting of lead vocalist Walter Ward and a changing roster of members, had a significant influence on the evolution of R&B into soul music. Their song, "Good Lovin'", later covered by The Young Rascals, remains one of their most influential works.
