The Road Apples were a Canadian rock band active from 1983 to 1991, best known for their resemblance to the style of The Tragically Hip. The band consisted of members Jeff Martin, Joe Chithalen, Paul Langlois, Rob Baker, and Gord Sinclair. Their music was characterized by a blend of rock and blues, with influences from folk and country music. Despite their short tenure, The Road Apples were significant in the Canadian music scene and provided a stepping stone for members Langlois and Baker, who later joined The Tragically Hip.
