The Robins were an influential American rhythm and blues vocal group, active primarily in the 1950s. Their distinctive sound was characterized by tight harmonies and a blend of doo-wop and early rock and roll. The original members included Ty Terrell, Billy Richard, Roy Richard, and Bobby Nunn, with significant contributions from songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.
