The Rooftop Singers were an American progressive folk-singing trio, most active in the early 1960s. Comprised of Erik Darling, Bill Svanoe, and Lynne Taylor, the group is best known for their hit single "Walk Right In," which topped the Billboard charts in 1963. Their distinctive style combined traditional folk influences with more modern elements, resulting in a unique blend of acoustic guitar melodies and tight, three-part vocal harmonies. Despite their brief tenure, The Rooftop Singers significantly contributed to the popularization of folk music in the American mainstream.
