The Rustix was an American blue-eyed soul group from Rochester, New York, active from 1966 to 1972. They were known for their soulful, rhythmic sound featuring powerful vocal harmonies, influenced by R&B and rock. Signing with Motown's Rare Earth label in 1969, the Rustix were the first white band signed by Motown. Their most significant works include their two albums, "Bedlam" and "Come on People".
