"The Seeds" were an American rock band, renowned for their fusion of garage rock and psychedelic rock during the mid-1960s. Led by charismatic frontman Sky Saxon, they were one of the pioneers of the "flower power" movement. The band's signature sound, characterized by simple, hard-driving beats and Saxon's distinctive vocal delivery, was most notably encapsulated in their hit "Pushin' Too Hard". Although their commercial success was relatively short-lived, The Seeds’ influence can be detected in the punk rock movement and in numerous garage bands, cementing their place in rock history.
