The Silkie

The Silkie was a British folk and pop group prominent in the mid-1960s. They are best known for their rendition of the Lennon–McCartney song "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," which was personally arranged and produced by The Beatles. The band members included Mike Ramsden, Sylvia Tatler, Kevin Cunningham, and Ivor Aylesbury, each contributing to the group's distinctive folk-infused pop sound. Despite their short-lived career, The Silkie's unique blend of vocal harmonies and acoustic elements left a noteworthy mark on the British folk-pop scene.
