The Smoke Ring was a prominent garage rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, active during the mid-1960s and early 1970s. Their musical style incorporated elements of pop, rock and roll, and psychedelic rock, with their most notable hit being "No, Not Much," which charted in the Billboard Hot 100 in 1967. Band members included guitarist/bassist George B. "Bud" Phillips, drummer Marty Phillips, guitarist Lyle K'ang, bassist Steve Blondo, and keyboardist Jim West. Their influence can be seen in the regional Midwest music scene and they are a significant part of the garage rock movement.
