The Speidels were an influential American doo-wop group originating in the 1950s. Known for their smooth, harmonious vocal style, they contributed significantly to the development of rhythm and blues and rock and roll. Notably, the band included singer-songwriter Johnnie Morisette, who later had a successful solo career. Their signature sound, characterized by tight harmonies and romantic lyrics, can be heard in their hit song "Do You Love Me," which remains a classic example of the doo-wop genre.
