The Staccatos

The Staccatos were a Canadian rock band active from 1963 to 1970, most known for their hit singles "Half Past Midnight" and "Let's Run Away". Their music encapsulated the 60s rock and roll sound combined with distinct elements of pop, making them a significant part of Canada's early rock music scene. The band's most notable members included vocalist Dean Hagopian and drummer/vocalist Vern Craig. After changing their name to Five Man Electrical Band in 1970, they achieved international success with their protest song "Signs".
