The Sugarman 3 is an American soul-jazz band founded in the late 1990s by saxophonist Neal Sugarman. Known for their instrumental, groove-oriented music, they contributed to the resurgence of interest in funk and soul jazz during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The band, which also includes organist Adam Scone and drummer Rudy Albin, is recognized for their work on the Daptone Records label, especially their influential albums "Sugar's Boogaloo" and "Pure Cane Sugar". Their distinctive sound combines vintage rhythm and blues influences with a modern jazz sensibility.
