Put The Music On Funk (Part I)/ (Part II)

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. I'm not sure what year this was released, but it sounds like early 1970s funk and is greatly reminiscent of Sly & The Family Stone, but with the prominent horns of Kool & the Gang. The fact that it's released in stereo suggests it's later than 1973, however. Regardless, if you're a fan of early funk, you will definitely want a copy of this single for your collection! Note: The label credits add "Featuring Samaki" to the group's name.
