A Little Love

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed promo copy, in its original factory sleeve. RCA obviously had high hopes for this, Newton's first single back on RCA after a string on hits on Capitol. And they had reason to be optimistic: This is a very catchy, bouncy crossover pop/country track. They even pressed it on beautiful red vinyl. But it was not to be. The record flopped on both pop and country radio and was the last gasp for her pop music career... though she went on to chalk up a series of big country hits through the late 1980's. Note: This single has the same Stereo version on both sides.
