I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry / Mama

Originally released on Scepter 12129. This is arguably B.J. Thomas's finest vocal performance, and it doesn't hurt that he's singing Hank Williams' most beautiful lyrics. The arrangement is straight out of the deep soul songbook, as featured on such masterpieces of "When A Man Loves A Woman" and "At The Dark End Of The Street". Originally credited to B.J. Thomas and The Triumphs. This is a new copy of the Gusto reissue.
